The duo, Nc. SAI PRASANTHI & Nc. SAI SANTHOSHI, named vizag sisters, performed a non-stop carantic vocal recital “AANANDA SANKEERTHANAMRITHAM “for a period of 32 hours- 13 minutes, breaking the existing world record of 25 hours. Their classical marathon started at 10:30 am on the 11th of October, 2013 and lasted till 6:43pm, 12th October, 2013 at the sri Krishna mandiram auditorium, seethammadhara, Visakhapatnam.They sang 311 compositions of various famous vaggeyakaras with an exact blend of shruti, laya and bhaavam. That was a tireless splendid performance that mesmerized the lot of audience with immense melody and bliss.
