A statue of Mahatma Gandhiji was made by the prominent sculptor Mr. KATURI RAVI CHANDRA, M.F.A, by using Iron Balls of different sizes. The total numbers of iron balls used for this were a number of 2 lakhs and weighing a total weight of 150 kg within a short period of 2 months. This deed was made by this sculptor for the celebrations of Indian Independence Day.
